About the Position:

Protech Model is looking for an ambitious hands-on individual that enjoys spending time on a factory floor, working with their hands to ensure the highest quality product gets manufactured.

A pro-active attitude on the production floor is required to help identify areas where improvement is needed. This is necessary to streamline production and ensure a fast turnaround time of orders.

Position Duties:

welding
light electrical work
using of power tools (drills, grinders, saws etc)
Handy-Man work

General Quality Inspection
Workshop cleanliness
assistance in the pattern shop (laying up wooden boards, sanding, assisting with the CNCs etc.)
Spray painting
assisting and handling of Laser Machines
Requirements

1-5 years experience of hands on work in a factory/production environment.
Computer literacy with experience in MS Office (Excel, Internet and Word)
drivers license
Able to work under extremely pressured timelines.
languages : English and Afrikaans
Physically fit and able to carry out a range of general duties
