Settlement Team Leader-hr Xchange

Our Client in the logistics industry requires a Settlement Team Leader to be based at their office in Bryanston.

Salary: R30,000 to R35,000 CTC per month depending on experience

Responsibilities
Manage Accounts Payable : Verification of invoices received and check that payments are done timeously
Manage Account Receivable : Check Gen-tariff and billing is on time to meet the weekly deadline for submission of invoices to Customer and get payments on time
Processing AR/AP in Local Distribution & Warehousing
Contract and Tariff Management
Mapping the tariff codes with Customer’s system SAP
Monitor and ensure there are no settlement delays, invoice and pricing delays by addressing these delays with the team members in charge and develop solutions to prevent these delays.
Ensure the settlement team to meet the KPIs set by Head office; On time billing & Same month billing
Identify reasons for KPI failure and make countermeasures
Prepare weekly and monthly performance reports; AR/AP comparison, Pending/Outstanding invoices, KPI performance

Submit the monthly accrual report to the customer and management
Problem solving – invoicing and costing variances system tariff errors
Communication with Customer and Vendors to ensure settlement processes are running efficiently
Improve settlement process by studying current practices and discuss how to improve and make efficiency with management
Requirements

Advanced level in Excel
Degree/Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Management, Transport, Accounting.
Minimum 3 to 5 years in an analytical and accounts role
