Senior Transport Manager

A leading logistics and transport company is looking for a Senior Transport Manager (10-15 years exp) to join their team in Johannesburg. Must be proactive, used to making decisions quickly and decisively and managing a team.
Manage the brokerage division

building relationships with suppliers and their drivers

meticulous planning of loads and routes

a sense of urgency to get the work done

Reporting directly to the MD - requires constant feedback and information

Excellent planning skills including superstar skills on Excel.

10-15 years experience in Linehaul/transport environment

ability to manage people

Advanced Excel and planning skills

Degree/Diploma or Certificates an advantage but not essential

Traceable references and proven track record
