Scope of work

Operations:
1) Work according to SOP set up on every client
2) Work according to sales reference
3) Update client file, schedules / problems / benefits
4) Understand and know all types of Terms and Conditions, as per job type
5) Liaise with Overseas Clients / Agents / Suppliers etc.
6) Making Booking with Service Provider
7) Monitor Stack date board / send stack dates
8) Make sure sufficient Free time is applied and confirmed
9) Capturing the booking on internal system and sending them out
10) Follow ups on cargo status
11) Tracking on all modes of transport
12) Get depot release and send to client / service provider
13) Prioritize equipment in time
14) Capture shipping instructions
15) Check draft bills accurately before sending to client
16) Confirm bill after clients approval
17) Process and Confirm SOB / ANF / DROs details
18) Apply for early / late arrival if needed
19) Ensure accurate service provider invoices ad client
20) Follow up on payment if required
21) Confirm accurate customs documents
22) Process surrender forms
23) Confirm buy / sell rates
24) Solve operational problems with least risk to Land and Sea Shipping
25) Process Status Reports on all clients according to SOP
26) Plan shipments together with the client / warehouse based on tonnage received
27) Produce required shipping documentation for export purposes
28) Send weekly booking reports to shipper for all bookings with the shipping lines

a. This will contain all updates
b. All changes
c. All new booking
d. All vessel details
e. Tonnage booked per vessel / bill of lading
f. Free time approved
g. Will include Booking Dates / Stack Dates / ETDs / ETAs / Transshipment Ports

29) Process export customs documentation
30) Track and trace containers into stack then to Destination
Minimum Requirements:

Matric
Relevant sea and air freight experience essential
R12 000 Gross
