Sales Representative Westrand

PVM Nutritional Sciences, a well established, Pretoria based company, is seeking a Sales Representative to service and promote health FMCG products to retail stores in the Westrand, Johannesburg Potchefstroom/Klerksdorp area, as well as organize promotional activities at sporting- and lifestyle events.

PVM was established in 1968 and has a strong, nationwide footprint across all retails sectors. We develope and promote ethical sport- and nutritional products and supplements. We have a stong ethical foundation with regards to sport supplementation and sport science.



Primary Function:

You have a strict bi-weekly call cycle to adhere to which includes visits all grocery, sports, pharmacy and health stores. Store Visits comprise of:

relationship building,
shelf-space negotiations,
ensuring proper merchandising standards,
placing orders,

product training.
We need someone that can take control of all sales in this area, and that has the ability to assist and advise athletes (serious and recreational) on correct supplementation.

Promotions are done over weekends and you would be required to assist in identifying opportunities where we can sample and educate.

The following requirements are very important:

Must have your own reliable vehicle.
Experience as a sales representative (preferably in FMCG retail sector).
Fluency in English and Afrikaans.
Interest in sport and nutrition, preferably partake in endurance sport.
Available for promotional work after hours and on weekends.
Reside close to, or in the west rand. (not a necessity, but would be beneficial to you).
Guarenteed Cost to company, Travel allowance and Year end bonus.
