Sales Representative
Critical Success Objectives:

Achieve sales and margin budget set by company
Focus on new product development on SACHS, Lemforder and TRW product ranges
Ensure that all trade parts are listed on all customers operating systems
Gathering of competitor activities through market intelligence
Customer evenings to be held to focus on our brands and product ranges
Product training with focus on features, advantages and benefits of all products
Establish and update CRM database must be in place
Sales calls on trade customers to promote sales campaigns
Ensure that all customers have up to date print or electronic catalogues
Monthly meetings per customer
New product development activities

Competitor activities
Limited credit notes
Build good customer relationships
Identify all product gaps by respective customers not sourced from company
Log all items which can be introduced
Initiate new part number development to meet changing market requirements
Ensure that all trade parts are listed on all customers operating systems
Ensure that all news bulletins and trade price documents are communicated to all relevant people working for our distributors
Report on all competitor sales and marketing activities
Price benchmarking
Product coverage
Micro marketing activities
Merchandising and give aways
Customer visits in line with planned and agreed calling cycles
Focus on trade visits
2 x Regional monthly product training sessions with focus on product features, advantages and benefits
Catalogue reading training
Promotion of relevant sales campaigns
Product brand awareness
Assist with regional technical queries and warranties
Vehicle of road (VOR) situations
Fleet visits to be integrated into normal weekly call cycles and core availability to be recorded
Core purchases to be done according to required core list for HD clutch remanufacturing
Build customer relations and promote the range of SACHS HD new and remanufactured clutches during fleet visits
Ensure electronic birthday cards are send. Liaise with marketing department
Ensure that all other relevant personal messages are send on standard templates. Liaise with marketing department
Distribute up to date print catalogues to all customers during respective regional customer visits
Where applicable ensure that all web access customers have WebCat loaded
Commercial and Technical background in automotive industry

At least 5 years sales experience in the automotive industry
