Sales Representative (Business Development Representative)
Food Service - Sales

Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates to fill the position of a Sales Representative/Business Development Representative. The position is based at the McCain Offices in Rosebank.

PURPOSE OF THE JOB

The role is responsible for the maintainance and development of McCain business through professional account relationships with end-users.

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:



Prepare action plans and schedules to identify specific targets and to project number of contacts to be made.

Establish, develop and maintain business relationships with current customers and prospective customers in the assigned region to generate new business.
Make telephone calls and in-person visits and presentations to existing and prospective customers in line with the service package.
Present new product / service offerings to customers to elicit trials and sampling opportunities.
Coordinate sales effort with marketing and sales management.
Participate in trade shows and conventions.
Achieve financial targets i.e. volume, conversions.

REQUIREMENTS
Sales/Marketing Diploma/ Degree or equivalent qualification
Minimum 2 years' Sales / Sales representative experience within FMCG with proven track record
Food Service sales experience advantageous
Microsoft Office (Power Point, Excel, and Word)
Valid SA Drivers License
