Retail sales - flooring

Job Description
Must be willing to work retail hours, including Saturdays until 15h00

The client requires individuals that understand and are very serious about stability and some one that is looking for a long term career, as the opportunity to grow within the organisation is a good possibility.

It is a retail operation but staff are required to visit clients. The candidate will not be required to use their own transport as the company provides a vehicle to do the assessments.

Requirements

The candidate must be aware that the company trades 6 days a week, including every Saturday until 15:00.
The candidate must have a driver’s license.
The candidate must be bilingual – English and Afrikaans.
The candidate must be computer literate, must be able to use Outlook, Excel and Word
The candidate must be technically orientated (ability to use a screwdriver and a drill from time to time, need to install window blinds, which are not difficult to install).

Training will be provided.
The candidate must have some ability with maths, must understand that 3x4 = 12sq meters and not 7.
Must be target driven.
The candidate must have initiative.
The candidate must understand that this is a retail environment with LSM 8 – 12 client base.
Customer service, grooming/appearance, communication skills etc. are paramount.
The salary is between R6 000 to R8 000 per month. The company believes in rewarding staff on performance and do try to pay bonuses every few months in order to keep the staff motivated
