The incumbents will report to the Assistant Manager (Production Evaluations) and be responsible for preparing, driving, servicing, disassembling and rebuilding durability vehicles. Overtime and shift work is a mandatory requirement for these positions.
Candidate Requirements
Qualifications and Experience

Vehicle preparation – must have ability to conduct complete vehicle service and maintenance accurately in line with workshop manuals.
Teamwork - must be able to work effectively in a team environment comprising of diverse individuals




Key Job Functions

Cost – identify potential product and operational cost savings
Diagnostics/fault finding – must have comprehensive knowledge and logical fault finding ability
Testing – must be able to follow procedures accurately. Ability to accurately complete daily technical check sheets and communicate vehicle problems to Management. Ability to communicate verbally and in writing on task status.


N3 qualification with petrol or diesel trade test - minimum 3 years post apprenticeship experience OR
N2 qualification with petrol or diesel trade test - minimum 5 years post apprenticeship experience
Minimum of 5 years driving experience from date of obtaining license (Min requirement code B)
Knowledge of workshop safety practices
Advanced driver training would be an advantage
Proven and traceable accident free driving track record will be an advantage
