Oath / AOL / Yahoo Media Sales Account Executive

Ad Dynamo is Africa’s largest digital sales house, representing Oath (AOL/Yahoo), Twitter, Snapchat and Spotify in SA and sub-Saharan Africa. We are looking for a senior digital media display & performance sales executive to service and grow key accounts in Joburg for Oath (AOL & Yahoo combined).

The position requires daily communication (in-person and video calls) and service of our agencies and brands. The ideal candidate would be a high-performing, experienced digital sales person with solid knowledge of the display & performance advertising landscape - native, premium as well as programmatic. You will be comprehensively trained on the Oath product set but previous display ad sales experience is key.


This role comprises the following responsibilities:

Drive new and grow existing account revenues
Achieve quarterly sales targets
Provide day-to-day support to allocated customers
Manage brand direct and agency relationships
Reporting on campaign performance
Activate new customers through strategic selling
Ensure customers are educated and informed of all new product offerings

Fulfil all role functionalities associated with operations and sales

A typical day consists of:

Educating brands & agencies on the Oath platform and best practice
Preparing and presenting proposals to solve business objectives and generate ad sales
Managing communications with agency & brand & ensuring ad performance is optimal
Liaising with our Account Management and Brand Strategy teams for day-to-day support
Daily communication with management on account progress and next steps
REQUIREMENTS

Digital sales experience (minimum 3 years in digital sales)
Digital marketing experience
Knowledge of digital advertising products crucial
Knowledge of programmatic advertising crucial
Knowledge of South African/African agency/digital landscape would be an advantage
Excellent presentation skills - spoken and written
Good numerical skills - create Keynote proposals and insertion orders independently
