Urgently Looking for a Junior Creditors Clerk to join an IT/ Computer Company in Randburg.

To Start IMMEDIATELY!!!

Salary R7 000 - R9 000 per month

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Capturing Supplier documents:
1.1 Capturing authorised Purchase Orders into the accounting system
1.2 Capturing of Supplier Invoices
1.3 Matching Invoices to Purchase Orders
1.4 Capturing Petty cash slips
1.5.Daily capturing and updating Bank Statements

2. Capturing Bank and Petty Cash transactions:
2.1. Issuing and Capturing Petty cash claims
2.2. Withdrawing Petty Cash
2.3. Preparing payment reconciliations
2.4. Preparing payment requisitions
2.5. Preparing Bank Payment batches
2.6. Liaising with authorized signatories to release payments.
2.7. Sending out proof of payments
Liaising with Suppliers
3.1. Requesting invoices, statements and other relevant information, from suppliers
3.2. Credit Applications completed and follow up with other departments for information
Reconciliations:
4.1 Petty Cash
4.2 PO’s to Supplier Invoices
4.3 Supplier statement to Pastel supplier’s ledger
4.4 Payment requisitions to departmental budgets, obtaining additional approval, where required
4.5 Stock- Weekly.
4.6 Ned fleet- Bi Weekly
Filing twice weekly
Checking Fuel Claims
Preparing Management Pack information for Financial Manager
8. Adhoc tasks
Personal Specification:

Must have at least 2 years Creditors experience.
Previous Pastel experience essential.
Matric Certificate
Must be deadline driven and extremely analytical.
Excellent communication skills with English as your first language.
