What You Can Expect:

Manufacturing at P&G is responsible for every aspect of product making for some of the world’s best love brands. Working as a Mechatronics Engineer you will be entrusted to deliver Power Control & Information System projects across our UK’s biggest manufacturing plant our West Thurrock (London) Fabric and Home Care business including making and packing.

Please note that this role comes with an immediate start date.

Responsibilities:

In this role you will be expected to:
• Lead the execution of the Power control & information system masterplan, including technical and managerial directions (i.e., schedule, cost, quality checklist)
• Lead the capability building in engineering and manufacturing, including basic knowledge for no- Power control & information system technicians and engineers.
• Execute Power control & information system key element assessment annually to develop action plans and measures glidepath.
• Obsolescence masterplan ownership for the department.
• Provide coaching/development/administrative management of direct reports.
• Develop and manage the relationship with strategic partners and contractors who provide Power control & information system support for the site.
• Establish the supplier support strategy and lead the relationship with key account managers.
• Lead department Power control & information system safety, cybersecurity, and regulatory needs are proactively defined and addressed.

Job Qualifications
Skills and Experience Needed:
• University graduates who have recently completed a degree in Mechatronics, Controls, or Automation Engineering fields.
• Candidates with some experience post-graduation in Process or Machine control will also be considered.
• Evidence of passion and achievements, particularly leadership, in academic and/or non-academic activities, short work experience or internships are a plus.
• Strong English verbal and writing skills.
