Job description
Reporting to: Chief financial officer

Qualifications
Matric
Marketing/Bcom marketing management qualification
Three+ years’ experience in a similar role
Background in digital marketing gained from an applicable retail/fashion environment
Competent in SEO and SEM strategy and best practices
Main duties and responsibilities
Develop and manage the marketing budgets.
Manage all marketing invoices and PO on weekly basis.
Develop and execute marketing plans and campaigns to drive sales growth of stores.
Collaboration with merchandise department to ensure consistent communication and that all marketing campaigns are in line with companies overall goals.

Develop and brief all promotional plans and campaigns.
Ensure systems are all set up according to promotional calendars and loaded for smooth execution of campaigns.
Report on all promotional campaigns ROI and track year on year.
Manage day to day activities of marketing team which consist of graphic designer and customer service liaison.
Attend and report weekly in management meeting on all marketing initiatives, campaigns and website reports.
Ensure all outsourced parties are managed effectively to meet company goals,
such as digital agencies.
Biweekly meeting with digital agency to discuss reports, performance and upcoming campaigns on all SEO and SEM (search/social/display/affiliate).
Ensure constant communication with agencies for fast reactivity to the market and campaigns.
Oversee and report on all digital strategies in order to increase conversion rates on website.
Communicate all briefs with third party PR agency on all brand communications and events which include conceptualising of events and campaigns.
Oversee all influencer collaborations and contracts in place.
Manage all apro stock that is sent out for media and influencer use.
Liaise with key brands to setup marketing collaboration campaigns which are beneficial for the company meeting its goals.
Monitor competition landscape in the channel, highlighting important changes, initiatives and best practices.
Ensure a trade marketing calendar is kept up to date.
Responsible for the overall creation and publication of all marketing material.
Develop and manage all stores POS material for day to day business needs and promotional campaign needs.
Manage all sponsorship requests and store marketing outreach programme requests.
Keep abreast of trends and social networking in retail industry.
Ensure brand development and maintenance through brand consistency.
Manage all product photography for seasonal look books and campaigns.
Overall lead all marketing communication including email marketing.
Overall responsibility for brand management and corporate identity.
Maintain effective internal communications to ensure that all relevant company functions are kept informed of marketing objectives.


Requirements
Skills/requirements:
Ability to manage people and work as a team
Good decision making/problem-solving skills
Experience in marketing automation alongside digital metric reporting and analysis
Strong communication skills at all levels
Must be able to work flexible hours and adapt to a semi-structured environment
Must be able to self-manage
Previous staff management experience an added advantage
