To achieve the store key performance targets within the Jewellery department through sales generation, execution of visual standards and promotions, customer service and process management thereby ensuring success and profitability of the Jewellery business in the store
Customer Service Delivery - Store
1. Adhere to chain customer service strategy and processes.
2. Respond professionally and timeously to all customer queries regarding the product and/ or services offered.
3. Maintain product and financial services knowledge to guide and influence customer choices.
4. Handle all customer queries relating to damages, โOut of Boxโ queries, returns โ direct these queries through appropriate channels for resolution โ follow-up and monitor progress; provide regular feedback to the customer.
5. Liaise with the other departments in terms of the appropriate channels to resolve customer queries.
6. Proactively approach customers and identify potential sales opportunities within store
7. Identify customer product needs and high demand items and ensure availability of product offerings that address/meet these needs.
Financial Ratio - Store
2. Aim to convert all sales opportunities identified into sales transactions.
3. Drive the achievement of jewellery sales targets by selling prepaid units, ensuring starter packs are activated in line with procedures and selling contracts in line with procedures.
4. Ensure that Admin Associate processes required transaction so that sale can be converted
4. Execute the store's stockloss action plan in area of responsibility to ensure that department stockloss results are within Chain norms.
5. Ensure that store administration processes relating to jewellery stock management etc. in line necessary company and legislative standards
6. Implement department's promotions, markdowns and other Chain communications in accordance with chain standards
Merchandise Management
1. Implement department's layout, merchandising, signage and visual displays.
2. Communicate with merchants on stock issues (e.g. out of stocks, overstocks) via your line manager.
3. Maintain data integrity in the department through effective stock control.
4. Conduct regular analysis and interpretation of the various stock reports e.g. Stock & sales report to assess jewellery stock levels and to manage the department's performance.
5. Develop and maintain relationships with various stakeholders through effective communication.
Market Intelligence - Store
1. Conduct regular scans of your immediate competitor environment with reference to price, product, layouts and promotions and inform line management of gaps identified.
2. Provide the Store Manager / Department Manager with a business case on the opportunities identified so that gaps are addressed and resolved.
3. Participate in all new business programmes within the store and maintain product knowledge to guide customer choices.
3. Assist in the drive to achieve financial services targets.
