Santam's Specialist Business: Transport: Heavy Haulage has a position available for an Insurance Consultant who will be based in Sandton.

PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES

Dealing with general enquiries and amendments on all commercial short-term insurance business
Adhering to the underwriting criteria and regional requirements; as well as profiling the client as to the best product suitable, underwriting criteria
General policy administration of Commercial Business which includes issuance of new policies and amendments
Quotations on new and existing business,
Assistance to RM
Process of Renewals and policy screenings

QUALIFICATIONS

Matric certificate or equivalent qualification
FAIS compliant: NQF level 4 (short-term insurance)
Underwriting knowledge/experience
2 years' commercial lines experience in a short term insurance environment would serve as an advantage. (Recommended)
Previous experience in client services environment would serve as a further advantage.
