The successful candidate will provide operational support in terms of talent acquisition, administration, Employee Relations, the execution of HR Projects as well as Corporate Culture and Wellness.

Strong future and change management abilities, forward thinking, technologically advanced to ensure the success of systemisation and Artificial Intelligence in the future.


Required Technical Skills and Experience

Bachelors’ Degree in Industrial Psychology / HR / Social Sciences.
2 to 3 years HR Generalist experience across functions is essential.
MS Office proficiency at intermediate level.
Highly proficient in usage of SAGE Human Resource Systems.
The ideal candidate:

Must be a brand ambassador for the Corporate Culture
Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, specifically in English
Confident when interacting with others.
Able to do presentations and conduct training when necessary
Must keep people informed with relevant and well-timed information
Able to handle conflict calmly and maturely.
Must know how to build relationships with and deliver services to both internal and external clients and service providers with a focus on fulfilling their needs.
Candidate must have ability to solve challenging problems by using a combination of intuition and analytical thinking.
Attention to detail is critical in this position as there is a strong system and administrative requirement.
Must be familiar with all legislation related to human resources.
Must live in George
Key Performance Outputs:

Adhere to statutory regulations, organizational standards, policies and procedures.
Strong labour / employee relations skills, ability to co-ordinate, guide and assist management and staff.
Report non-compliance and implement corrective actions to ensure compliance.
Obtain information, check for accuracy and capture data.
Manage and monitor time and attendance for all employees with weekly reporting to HRM
Discuss compliance issues with Operational Management.
Auditing of employee files, employee benefits, overtime and leave.
Assist Recruitment specialists in administration, scheduling, data capturing and interviewing when required.
Provide support and assist execution of ad-hoc HR projects.
Comply with work rules, standards and methods.
Take care to minimize waste
Identify and provide feedback on cost saving initiatives within area of control.
Build, support and maintain interpersonal and team relationships to ensure stable working environment and achievement of team objectives.
The position will be filled in line with the Badger Holdings culture, values and Employment Equity policy and plan. Preference will be given to members of designated groups that are under-represented.
