Training Coordinator
Multinational Manufacturer based in Atlantis has a 1-year Fixed Term Contract opportunity
Criteria:
HR Qualification (Critical)
Qualified Assessor and/or Moderator
2 - 3 yearsβ Experience in preparing training materials, manuals, in presenting training and conducting assessments, managing learnerships, apprenticeships and/or internship programs (Critical)
Proficient on all Microsoft packages,
Sound understanding of Skills Development legislation,
Knowledge of preparing training reports and training plans for SETAs
Sound knowledge of BBBEE requirements,
Sound knowledge in managing learnerships, apprenticeship and internship programs
Proven ability to complete full training cycle (assess needs, plan, develop, coordinate, monitor and evaluate)
Daily functions:
Report to HR Manager
Working closely with all external service providers, SETA, Auditors, Unions
Supports the overall business objectives through the ongoing, long-term improvement of employees' knowledge and skills, by assessing training needs, development of skills matrixes, and execution of training plans, implementing and maintaining administrative systems and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation.
Compliance:
Completion and submission of WSP and ATR,
Initiating skills programs and training initiatives that will maximize Discretionary Grant Funding from SETA,
Coordinate and ensure the proper functioning of the Training Committee,
Conduct effective induction and orientation sessions,
Meet the full target of BBBEE scorecard for Skills Development element,
Manage Learnerships and apprenticeship programs, including the activities and compliance of learners,
Ensure legal compliance in terms of licensing of all Moving Machine Operators,
Monitor and evaluate training programβs effectiveness, success and ROI periodically and report on them,
Ensure compliance by self and others to internal training and development policies,
Act as the company SDF responsible for all submissions to the SETA,
Skills Development:
Facilitate staff assessments and use this information to determine further training needs,
In support of HR Manager and respective department heads, perform training needs analyses
Facilitate or offer internal training,
Together with internal subject matter experts, develop assessment material,
Compile a company training plan and coordinate the scheduling of training interventions and ensure events are attended,
Ensure training plans addresses company EE and BBBEE requirements
Administration:
All reports, both internally and externally are completed and submitted on time,
Relevant records of all training interventions are properly managed, stored and updated
Personnel Skills and Authorization Matrixes are up to date,
With support of internal subject matter experts develop internal training materials,
Liaise with external training providers regarding training programs,
