Salary:

R12 500 - R17 500

As a Host/Hostess at Workshop17, you are at the heart of our team's business operations and the first point of contact our members have with us. We count on you to ensure each visitor has a warm, welcoming, authentic and efficient experience when visiting Workshop17 workspaces. At the same time you effortlessly anticipate the needs of your team members and help them stay focused on their projects by resolving operational and administrative issues before they arise.

Responsibilities

Welcomes guests by greeting them, in person or on the telephone; answering or referring inquiries.
Provides guests with information, answer queries and manage complaints.
Performs an array of administrative tasks (Manages calendars, books travel, and schedules facilities and equipment to support events and functions).
Coordinates day-to-day operational duties for multiple offices.
Serves as a operations lead for small projects.
Maintains security by establishing and following safety procedures.
Prepares bills and manages payments.
Provide ongoing support to the Community Manager
Provide ongoing support to the members and tenants, troubleshooting wifi, printing and booking issues
All the areas in the spaces must always be kept clean, neat and tidy

Qualifications/Experience

Minimum qualifications/experience:

Minimum 2 Years relevant work experience, in the hospitality or co-working/shared office sectors
Matric
Ability to handle multiple requests, work effectively in a fast-paced environment, and to be responsive to customer requests/service issues.
An upbeat, energetic, positive, mature and professional attitude
The ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
Attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work well under pressure and with a diverse range of personalities
Excellent communication skills
Computer Skills (Google Suite/Slack and proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint or Mac equivalents)
Ability to clearly communicate with a diverse range of stakeholders within and outside the organisation
Ability to navigate ambiguity in a rapidly changing environment and to oversee projects or implementation of national initiatives through to completion.
Understanding and knowledge of industry trends and direction.
Preferred qualifications/experience:

Degree or national Diploma in hospitality/customer service
Shared Office space experience
