Duties & Responsibilities
β’ Ensure that the correct beverages & meals chosen by the guest are delivered /served/ paid for in a professional & timely manner.
β’ Ensure duties as the required standards set out are fulfilled.
β’ Ensure setting up prior to & cleaning of venues after functions.
β’ Meeting and greeting guests / Taking orders / Clearing tables/ Packing take-away orders.
β’ Serving at breakfasts/lunch & cocktail parties as required.
β’ Ensuring that the client is happy with the functions (Provide & practice professional and excellent customer service excellence)
β’ Make sure that all cutlery, crockery, linen etc. is clean for a function and are secured after service.
β’ Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene in all tasks and duties.
β’ Carry out all necessary waiting duties.
β’ To report and where possible, take action about customer complaints and compliments.
β’ May be required to assist with any other duties that may be outside scope of responsibility

Qualifications
β’ Minimum matric
β’ Previous experience in a similar role
β’ Superior food and beverage knowledge
β’ Must be strong in functions, banqueting and administration.
β’ Related Qualification (Advantageous)
