A well known retailer is currently looking for a Floor Manager for a Store based in the Northern Cape-UPINGTON



Must have sound Knowledge of the following:

Mercchandisng standards
Must be able to wheeland deal with suppliers
Must be able to analyse sales Reports
Must have a good business accument
Must have a FMCG background
Must be able to manage a Wholesale Floor
Duties and Responsibilities:

Achieving Store Profitability by monitoring efficiencies and ensuring the pricing of goods is correct.
Stock Management which includes ordering, receiving of stock, stock rotation, stock takes and ensuring that the quality of stock is never compromised.
Staff Management which includes staff motivation, training, performance management, operational management and the discipline of staff.
Customer Service to the extent that the candidate is able to manage customer requirements and expectations and manage staff to ensure that excellent customer service is maintained at all times.
Hygiene and Safety which includes the management of the overall store hygiene and implementation of the company’s safety regulations.
General Administration which includes cashing up, banking and the analysis of back office reports etc.
Candidate Requirements

5 years retail management experience in a FMCG environment.
Matric Qualification.
Excellent leadership and management skills.
Competiveness, Passion for service excellence and strong affiliation to attention to detail.
The ability to work in a team and independently.
Self motivated, proactive, dynamic, energetic and results orientated.
An honest person with personal integrity and a positive attitude.
Analytical thinker with good organisational skills.
The ability to take criticism and improve on the areas of weaknesses.
