The successful candidate will need to possess the following:

Matric
Two+ years' experience in scheduling, coordinating, and dispatching trucks for deliveries
Detail-oriented
Proficient with Microsoft Office skills
Ability to effectively communicate with customers and drivers
Familiarity with phone etiquette, customer service, and documentation practices
Ability to complete and review daily route paperwork, accurately
Competent and accurate typing/data capture skills
Key tasks:

Plan, coordinate, and track daily route assignments to drivers, efficiently
Record and maintain all load and tracking data into the dispatch system

Develop and maintain strong professional relationships with drivers and contractors
Contact and inform the customers about order status and related concerns
Document and communicate work-related information as required to the appropriate departments/management
