Requirements:

Higher Diploma in Food Technology, BSc Degree in Food Science or BSc Chemistry/Chemical Engineering

Key Area Of Responsibility:

With the help of the R&D Manager to interpret and execute the Product Development Brief
Provide input for Ingredient Supplier Brief supporting product launches
With the help of the R&D Manager define quality and technology standards and specifications for sourcing
Assist in pilot and factory trials that will result in delivery of innovation and renovation pipeline

With the help of the R&D Manager , produce prototypes to deliver against Product Brief
With the help of the R&D Manager , develop and sign off with QA all specifications (ingredients, work in progress and finished goods) and SOPs
With the help of the R&D Manager , ensure Regulatory, Health & Safety, Environmental compliance of new product launches
Evaluate and manage risks associated with Projects
