Main purpose / objective of the position:

Processing of tenant applications and reporting on Liberty Portfolio. Credit Bureau/Deeds Office searches, bank code and trade refs. Prepare financial assessment spreadsheet for financial analysis of incoming tenant financials. Maintain masterlist report on all incoming credit applications status – distributed weekly. General Administration – credit application/dunning monthly statistical reporting. Filing and storage duties. Assisting in Telephone/collection of clients’ rental invoices/ Deposits to ensure healthy cash flow and control of all debtors accounts. Maintain records in SAP. Reconciliation of accounts. Assist with Dunning / Legal correspondence and legal invoice payment preparation. Maintain good long term customer and client manager relationships. Copy tenant invoices requests. Proactively develops knowledge of Acts governing credit management activities, FIC, POPI and related policies.

Decision making authority:
This position operates within policy parameters and decision framework.

Experience / Education:

Minimum of Grade 12 with accountancy as a subject or equivalent qualification /Credit Management qualification and experience, as well as 5 years relevant experience in a credit control role, credit vetting experience

Internal: Credit Manager/ Credit Management Team, Shopping Centre Teams – GM/ Finance Manager/ Leasing. HO Finance, Property Administration, Legal Department, FIC Dept
External: Tenants, Credit Bureau, Bank, Third party references, Deeds Office
