Hello… an exciting new opportunity has just become available in our Insure, Product & Alternative Distrubution Channels Area. We are looking to recruit a Commercial Sales Agent.

Role Objectives:

Call Centre –Inbound / Outbound commercial lines telesales

Sales and Service orientated commercial lines organisation

Dynamic challenging environment


Key Responsibilities:

To execute the sales process with diligence and integrity

To communicate with potential customers in a skillful and knowledgeable manner

To comply with the routine and structure of the call centre

To optimise each lead allocated to the agent

To effectively sell commercial lines insurance policies

To use appropriate interpersonal styles and communication methods to gain acceptance of our products from potential customers

To accurately identify needs by asking effective questions and listening attentively

To understand objections and overcome them with an appropriate response

Work in a performance managed environment

The incumbent will be acting as a representative of Hollard and will be placed on the representative register

Required Knowledge, Experience and Skills:

Preferable FAIS accreditation

A minimum of 2 years experience as a sales agent in a call center

Grade 12 numeracy and literacy (English) a minimum requirement

Vernacular language an advantage

Microsoft Office with competent typing skills

Short term insurance industry knowledge a plus

Meet the honesty and integrity requirements

Educational Requirements:

Matric

Relevant Degree or Diploma will serve as a significant advantage

Must comply with specific requirements to be Fit and Proper

Have a full qualification (or the correct number of credits if the DOFA date is pre- 2010)

Passed the RE exam
