It All Starts With You
To Co-ordinate and oversee, manage negotiate and settle claims and is account for the finalisation of the claim end-to end. Delegate authority to manage the process and resolve any conflict by a negotiating, settlement and finalisation functionality.

What You'll Give Our Customers
Your main accountabilities include Service Excellence, which consist of implementing all service initiatives by accurately following the guidelines and procedures. You will need to build, maintain and manage relationships with brokers and stakeholders. Operational Effectiveness is essential in this position, as you will receive all incoming documentation pertaining to the notification of a new claim. You will be conducting detailed verification of the policy holder’s coverage and capturing the relevant information on the policy administration system. Records must be kept of all incoming and outstanding work. Your last responsibility is the Bottom line – contain claims spend. This will be any reserve maintenance that is required during the lifecycle of the claim, must always be in line with the reserving philosophy. You will also be combating fraud by ensuring strict compliance to mandates, set procedures, philosophies and Company rules and regulations.

The success of everyone at Absa is measured by our ability to put our customers at the center of everything we do. To achieve this you will need the following:
Grade 12: NQF Level 4
3 Years’ minimum experience in Commercial Insurance claims
Certificate of Proficiency
ICIBS
Proficient in MS Office
Clear criminal record
