MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Promote and sell cards issuance products, as well as card issuance solutions and innovative products onto specified market and banking and payment customers.
Primary interface for customers’ portfolio
Establish and build long-term strategic relationships with Gemalto existing customers at higher management levels and with partners to maintain and grow market share
Aggressive target business development accounts to acquire new business
Identify opportunities and select the appropriate contacts within the organization to engage and qualify each opportunity
Ensure quarterly targets and individual objectives are met
Pitch and promote Gemalto products, services and solutions by ensuring the customer has a full understanding of Gemalto’s offering
Prepare accurate quotations and supporting documents in line with Gemalto processes and present to clients
Manage sales pipeline by ensuring customer forecasting is received in advance to plan volumes and manage pipeline revenue

 

 
Ensure regular monthly reviews and updates are performed using the company (Customer Relationship Management) CRM tool
Coordinate and lead Gemalto tenders’ answers
Negotiate and close deals according to Gemalto rules and guidelines
Interface with various resources within the Business Units to ensure the customer’s needs are fully understood and that commitments are going to be fulfilled
Contract management with internal facilitation and co-ordination to ensure contracts are finalized
Provide the accounts with product evolution inputs and roadmap definition
Ensure the relevant market information are communicated internally in Gemalto;
Prepare activity reports on a regular basis
Communicate on market forecast and any relevant information related to customers satisfaction and competition activity
Develop, propose and implement the strategic account planning in line with the Gemalto Sales Strategy and propose recovery plan in case of potential order shortfall
Ensure the overall customer satisfaction
Build and follow the relevant recovery plans
Education and Experience

Engineering or business school sales diploma or post graduate degree.
Minimum of 5-7 years’ experience in Sales
Customer facing with a proven sales track record
Knowledge of payments market segments
Preciseness and rigour to provide customer forecast;
Stakeholder relations (Clients, employees, integrators)
Strong marketing sense and vision.
Good business analysis and mid-term vision;
Language

English (oral and written)
Interpersonal skills

Organised with ability to manage time and business priorities
Interpersonal skills
Target driven and self-motivated to achieve numbers
Excellent negotiation skills
Good communication and presentation skills
Proactive sales approach in account management
Good oral and written communication skills
Excellent communications and presentation skills
Ability to thrive under pressure.
Fluency in English is required
