Assistant Accountant

Wonderful opportunity exists at multi-million well-known brand leader for a diligent, focused, energetic individual who would like to work in a large environment with a family feel. You will need to be a “recons whizz” and then be able to post to the GL with ease so every month-end deadline is met. You will be the right hand to the FM which will prove to be a wonderful learning curve!

BCom / part BCom plus 3-5 years’ experience in a similar role absolutely essential.

JOB COMPETENCIES ESSENTIAL

Bookkeeping to trial balance
In-depth understanding of creditors, debtors, cashbook
Full Fixed Asset Register maintenance
VAT and monthly returns
Understanding financial control systems
Understanding populating maintaining and reporting from financial management systems
Ability to communicate both verbal and written in English
