Responsible to competently manage the front office / reception and the main switchboard / telephone systemTechnical Responsibilities
Liaising with external and internal stakeholders
Liaise with all Internal Stakeholders and External Stakeholders and Suppliers when necessary towards the achievement of organizational and departmental goals.
Timely response to client requests
Effective client liaison (telephonically and face-to-face) Liaise with all Internal Stakeholders and External Stakeholders and Suppliers when necessary towards the achievement of organizational and departmental goals.
Reception and administrator
Effective receptionist / front office service.
Ensure that the Reception / Front Office and other relevant areas are opened and locked appropriately each day
Ensure that the image of the organisation is maintained through a professional dress code and ensuring that the front office/reception area is kept clean, neat and tidy at all times.
Always welcome and assist visitors and delivery personnel in a prompt, friendly and professional manner.
Reporting of faulty telephones and monitoring that repairs are resolved appropriately.
Monthly updating of the Aurum Site Office Emergency Telephone list.
Human Capital Management
Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals
Adheres to all data management SOPβs, guidelines and confidential agreements
Company Strategic intent
Housekeeping relating to function facilities kept in order
Comply with all safety policies, practices and procedures according to prescribed procedures and legislation
Report all unsafe activities to Senior Management/Human Resources
Adhere and maintain Decision making authority as allocated to the position
Requirements

Education
Grade 12
One-year certificate from college or technical school
Efficient in Microsoft office
Advantageous
Secretarial qualification
Experience
At least 2 yearsβ reception/ administration experience
Other Requirements:
Willing to work overtime
Proficient personal computer skills including electronic mail, record keeping,routine database activity, word processing, spread sheet, graphics.
Computer literate
