To prepare and pack kits timeously, stock management and assist with general clerical duties within the department.
Requirements:
Grade 12
1 years previous administration related work experience
Knowledge of basic Word
Knowledge of basic Excel
Knowledge of basic Google Mail
Computer skills: Use computer technology effectively.
Communication skills: Read, write and speak fluently in English.
Numerical reasoning skills: Perform basic numerical calculations (e.g. additions, subtraction, multiplication, division and percentages)
Typing skills: Basic typing skills
Advantageous:

Data capturing and/or secretarial related certificate1-2 years administration related work experience within a pathology laboratory environment
Knowledge of the Meditech system
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare laboratory kits and supplies to Investigators to ensure kits are accurate and compliant to relevant requirements.
Perform general administration tasks to provide administrative support to relevant departmental staff.
Perform general stock management tasks to ensure effective control over stock in storage, fridges and freezers.
Maintain good client relations to promote the image of Ampath.
Perform any additional request or tasks allocated when required to ensure workflow requirements are met.
