Hours of work: 3 full-days a week
Position reports to: Deputy General Secretary for Finance and Administration
This role is responsible for general office administration, basic accounting and reception duties.
Responsibilities:
To maintain proper records of receipts and payment with all supporting documentation and appropriate approvals
To perform bank reconciliation on monthly basis and petty cash reconciliation where applicable
To process and submit all financial records and documents to regional office finance team in Singapore monthly accounting and consolidation of monthly financial reports
Manage the office front desk and attend to queries where applicable. Assist with the replenishment of office supplies.
Assist in the filing of documents and records management.
Assist with banking of cash and cheques, where applicable and to process payments (prepare payment vouchers) for invoices.
Any other general administrative and bookkeeping duties as may be assigned from time to time
Pre-requisites:
AAT qualifications or diploma in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration
Numerate and able to work with spreadsheets with 1 to 2 years of relevant experience in book-keeping and general office administration.
Computer literacy β familiar and experience with Microsoft office (Word, Excel & Powerpoint)
Able to work with minimum supervision and as a team
Willing to work in Pretoria
A team player with excellent ability to communicate effectively at all levels
βCan doβ attitude, capable of working without constant supervision
Job Type: Part-time
Salary: R5,000.00 to R8,000.00 /month
