A Market leading Automation & Control Solutions Company in the field of process control instrumentation based in Durban is seeking a Workshop Manager. Only South African citizens to apply.
Generate service revenue from existing and new customers in the KZN region. Execute, supervise and manage the operational functions and activities of the KZN Service facility.
Ensure that all repairs and service to both internal and external customers are carried out in accordance with ACS and Emerson policies and procedures.
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS (DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES):
Frequent engagement with existing customers to generate revenue and ensure customer satisfaction
Explore and secure opportunities for service and repair work by engaging with new customers
Plan and conduct regular site surveys
Accurately analyse and plan all resource requirements for maintenance and repair work
Ensure maintenance and inspection on Tools and Equipment and Vehicle Maintenance are carried out as per schedule
Ensure no wastage of material and consumables
Ensure that housekeeping and safety is kept to a high standard
Supervision of Direct Reports
Job observations are performed and revised
Training of Direct Reports
Ensure sufficient Consumable Stock is kept as per pre-defined quantities
Conduct toolbox talks as per business requirements
ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS:
Grade 12
Industrial Process Instrumentation qualification β N3 with Trade Test as a minimum requirement
EXPERIENCE:
5-10 yearsβ industry experience required
Control valve experience is essential
Experience in sales
Above average knowledge of Emerson products is required (having attended a course or coursess on the Emerson products would be a great advantage)
Process Plant Knowledge (advantageous)
Drivers Licence Required
