A large Biotechnology company has a new Technical Sales Rep position to be based in the KwaZulu-Natal Area. The aim of the role is to develop new business and maintain existing customer relationships to promote the company’s products (equipment, reagents & services). The successful candidate will be responsible for Sales, visiting customers, equipment demonstrations, after sales service and complying with company processes.

The position will cover the Eastern side of SA and Lesotho & Swaziland.

Travel is integral to the role.

Requirements:

BSc OR BTech in Life Science related discipline (Food/Biomedical Science, Biotechnology, Genetics, Biochemistry etc.)
Relevant experience in Technical Sales in a similar industry (>2 years)
Independent laboratory experience highly advantageous
Outstanding communication skills (English)
Compelling Customer Service focus
Strategic thinker, self-motivated, goal driven problem solver
Professional personal presentation
Willing to travel extensively
Driver’s license and own vehicle
Valid SA ID and passport
