MAIN JOB PURPOSE:

Assistant to the Supply Change Finance Lead Southern Africa, responsible for SCI and Waste.
Responsibilities include ensuring all transactions related to SCI are captured/accrued in the correct period, Allocation rules correctly applied, provide guidance on all aspects of Financial Transactions to the relevant cost centre owners and to ensure communication of policy changes are rolled out.
Prepare monthly management reports on SCI identifying any risks and providing guidance on target delivery gaps identified.
The Finance Lead in the Waste Steercom, compiling all consolidations, reconciliations and reporting on Business Waste.
Responsible for managing/reconciling the Waste BS accounts.
This individual has to be a consumate professional as working with very senior levels of the organisation, and dealing with highly sensitive information


JOB SUMMARY
Monthly:
Review SCI/Waste performance and prepare management information according to performance
Prepare the monthly forecast for category based on SCI and Waste forecasts

Challenge relevant Business owners on both SCI and Waste performance and forward view relative to the targets, identify risks and opportunity
SRS:
Calculate and update SRS with all Savings according to Savings methodology
Audit:
Manage the BS accounts relative to SCI and Waste
Prepare the monthly control reports, and provide mgt updates and recommendations
Central touch point for Audit reporting for sites

KEY REQUIREMENTS

Financial Accounting Degree
Minimum 2 years of Supply Chain Finance experience
Advanced Excel, Sound SAP knowledge, strong governance skills, Strong Powerpoint skills, Strong Presentation skills
Strong Business Partnering, Ability to influence across all levels, Strong Team Player, ability to handle and work under pressure and to tight deadlines, strong bias for action
