Key areas of responsibility will include:
Responsible to attain and/or exceed budgets set by management.
Visit Independent clients and selected group clients, take orders and advice clients on new products and update information.
Analyse sales statistics to determine sales potential.
Report on future market trends and develop new sales ideas to attract more clients.
Be aware of competitorsβ activities and market intelligence.
Report to management on sales and provided feedback on new and existing products.
Maintain display and merchandise standards.
Prepare sales plans and promotional activities.
Categories client profile.
Deal with customer and consumer complaints.
Maintain and enhance relationships with customers.
Advise management on client and consumer reaction to products and clientβs needs.
Attend training for sales representatives for self-development.
Undertake promotional work.
Be involved in telemarketing.
Attend staff meetings.
Carry out formal presentations of products, attend promotional markets and organize product displays.
Ensure correct information regarding credit application and ensure all payment details are sent to Head Office.
Find and contact potential new customers.
Keep sales records.
Timorously report back and communicate all figures, documents relating to months.
