Purpose of Position:

To print, sort and deliver reports, stock items and/or specimen to and from hospital wards and Drs rooms and assist the staff with ad hoc tasks

Requirements:
Grade 10
Basic computer technology
Communication skills
Numerical reasoning skills

Advantageous:
Grade 12
6 - 12 months relevant messenger experience within a medical laboratory environment
Knowledge of basic Health and Safety regulations

Key Responsibilities:
Perform administration related duties related to stock and stock control.
Deliver reports and collect specimen in order to ensure sufficient service delivery to clients.
Maintain good client relations to promote the image of Ampath.
Clean the depot in order to ensure a neat and clean work environment.

Behavioural Competencies:
6 - 12 months relevant messenger experience within a medical laboratory environment
Knowledge of basic Health and Safety regulations
