Returns Bay Clerk

The purpose of this position is the effective management of the returns bay and to maintain and complete a comprehensive quality control programme whereby optimum quality standards are achieved.

Key Responsibilities would include, but are not limited to:


Ensuring the effective operations within the Returns Bay
Ensure that handling and storage of finished goods complies with Product and Process Quality Requirement
Manage customer complaints and take corrective action
Co-ordinate the disposal of write-offs
Perform administration and reporting effectively
Ensure Warehouse complies with QC & risk management
Prepare for and assist with monthly stock take
A willingness to work overtime when required
Timeous liaison with all departments to resolve discrepancies

Assist with the adherence to Quality Control Standards as per ISO Documents
Maintain effective housekeeping and safety practices
Ensure highest possible productivity in the workplace
Demonstrate active participation in all workplace improvement activities

The successful candidate must have the following experience/skills:


Previous Warehouse experience
Minimum Grade 12, a relevant tertiary qualification will be an advantage
Fully computer literate (MS Office Suite & SAP)
A self-motivated, driven person
A desire to achieve beyond expectations
