RED HILL, DURBAN | BASIC SALARY R5 000 + INCENTIVES OF R1 375 + COMMISSION + PERFORMANCE BONUS

PERMANENT POSITION | START ASAP

Company Hours (Work 6 days a week):

Monday to Friday 8h00 to 17h00
Saturdays 8h00 to 14h00
Sundays 9h00 to 13h00

Working hours: 6 days a week, One full weekend off

Our client is a well-established, stable company who is seeking an experienced and dynamic Internal Sales Consultant to join their team. Their main responsibility is to provide an efficient and effective sales function to all customers in the shop with the objective to increase turnover and project a positive image of the company.

REQUIREMENTS

At least 2 years’ experience within the retail industry in SALES essential
Well-presented and well-spoken
Team player
Must be computer literate
Love dealing with people and working within a targeted environment
Must be happy to work a few hours on weekends
Be sales, target and commission-driven
Ensure that personal appearance is immaculate at all times to project a positive sales and company image
Ensure that the area is neat and clean at all times to create the correct impression
Be attentive to when customers need assistance or when just browsing
Must have clear ITC and Criminal record
RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsible for showroom sales directly to the public
Provide an efficient and effective service to all customers who are entering the shop
Refer or escort the customers to the showroom
Provide customers with the required information regarding stock availability and various products
Use sales and marketing techniques to influence customers
Creating orders and advising customer of process i.e. payment, arranging delivery, despatch, etc
Follow-up with customers who require samples and measurements
Assist with stock taking
