PURPOSE OF POSITION

The purpose of this position is to source all local products for National Technical Sales Consultants in every region, further functions would include import orders and processing and tracking of shipments.

KEY TASKS

LOCAL PRODUCTS

Process orders for currently purchased local suppliers, ensure goods are received and distributed to the correct branch.
Arrange collections with with various branches.
Liaise HQ Store controller to distribute goods to the correct branches.
Ensure products are correctly labelled and marked for specific Technical Sales Consultants in the regions.
Local sourcing of new products / requirements.
Building and maintaining quotation template with information and pictures for all local sourced products.
Creates purchase orders from requisitions.
Confers with vendors to obtain product or service information such as price, availability, and delivery schedules.
Data entry and filing paperwork.
Obtaining price quotes from multiple suppliers.
Running reports to help determine stock requirements.
Issues purchase orders to suppliers and confirm delivery date, quantity ordered and price are correct.
Maintains procurement records of items or services purchased, costs, delivery, product quality or performance, and inventories.
Discusses defective or unacceptable goods or services with inspection or quality control personnel, users and others to determine source of trouble and take corrective action.
Processes receipts and invoices for payment.
IMPORT PRODUCTS & IMPORT PROCESSES

STOCK ORDER / BRANCH STOCKS

Check branch stocks on weekly basis.
Liaise with Branch Storeman and Branch Managers regarding low stock level items.
Assist with generating new order for all principals.
Order to be checked by Export Manager and Branch Managers.
Forward order to supplier.
Check order against order confirmation from supplier.
Add new order to order tracking with estimated shipment date.
