Part Time Sound Technician Job Spec

A well established events company is looking for a part time sound technician. Salary is negotiable.

Responsibilities

Setting up and maintaing audio equipment
Operate machines and equipment to record, synchronize, mix or reproduce
to produce a recording or a performance, editing and adjusting sound tracks using equalization and audio effects, mixing, reproduction, and reinforcement of sound
the placing of microphones, pre-amp knobs, the setting of levels
sound check and do live sound mixing using a mixing console and a sound reinforcement system for music corporate events or concerts
Requirements:

Matric/Grade 12

Diploma or Degree in Production or Audio Engineering
Portfolio of previous events done
Own transport
Extensive experience as a sound technician
Skills

Capable of working with internal and external teams and partners
Ability to work under pressure
Time keeper
