Work Description
The role involves assisting the M&E Officer in determining objectives and indicators for all Aurum Programmes, assisting with the analysis of data collected for assigned Programmes, evaluating Programmes, and writing monthly monitoring reports for assigned Programmes.
3.2. Technical Work Responsibilities
Monitoring and Evaluation
Liaise with Internal and External Stakeholders
General
Monitoring and Evaluation
Assist in the development of appropriate (HSS) project monitoring and reporting tools
Coordinate all aspect of project monitoring and reporting at District Level
Assist District Managers in collecting, collating and Reporting Work plan activities
Assist in analysing and compiling data to measure programme performance indicators progress towards the achievement of set targets
Assist in strengthening the use of data to identify monitoring systems weakness, support early recognition of progress to inform decision making 
Extract program data from HIMS and perform analysis
Compile and maintain paper and electronic data basis of portfolio of evidence
Conduct data verification to ensure data that is reported is of high integrity.
Keep supporting documents
Produce data is of high quality and on time for Strategic information teams and District staff
Conduct monitoring visits on a regular basis and report findings to strategic information officer and District teams
Work closely with District Data Management teams on assessing and improving data quality.


Requirements
2.1Education
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor of Science or Bachelor’s Degree in Social Science, Development Studies, Statistics or other relevant degree
Advantageous
Knowledge of M&E
2.2Experience
1 year related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
Experience and knowledge of Information Management
Experience in Health or HIV and AIDS environment
2.3Other:
Proven report writing skills
Ability to meet deadline
Own car
Valid driver’s license
Knowledge of TB and HIV will be an advantage
Mild overnight travel (up to 20%) by land and/or air
Intermediate personal computer skills, including electronic mail, routine database activity, word processing, spreadsheet, graphics, advance Excel etc.
