Job Summary:
To manage the day to day activities of the branch and to be an effective member of the Sales Team.
Job Description/Key Performance Areas:
1. Incoming Orders
1.1. Recording of customer requirements in Order Book.
1.2. Recording details on Back Order system in the event of the products not being available.
2. Invoicing
2.1. Invoicing of goods to customers are per the listed pricing. (For the particular Customer)
2.2. Ensure that suitable transport arrangements are in place for the customer to take delivery of their order.
2.3. Issue of Credit Note in the event of wrong pricing, or incorrect stock being delivered to the customer.
3. Stock
3.2. Recording of stock returned by Customers for Credit.
3.3. Assisting with Stock Take Procedures (stock count)
4. Complaints
Recording of all Customer Complaints related to : -
4.1. Product Quality
4.2. Service
4.3. Other reasons.
5. Customer Contact
Ongoing telephone contact with customers (in a rotation basis) to establish: -
5.1. Requirements for Products
5.2. Problems Customers may have encountered with products or delivery
5.3. Advising customers of available stock or current specials.
5.4. Promoting positive customer relations in general.
6. Cash Sales (COD)
6.1. Ensure all cash/cheques are collected prior to the products leaving the premises.
6.2. Ensure C.O.D transactions are done accordingly to the prescribed Company Procedures.
6.3. Ensure banking is done on a regular basis, with the relevant documentation being forwarded to Credit
Only candidates that have extensive knowledge and experience with Syspro will be considered.
Previous experience within the PVC Tarp and Coating Industry will be advantageous.
