Purpose of the job:

Ensure high standards of product delivery in terms of group fitness, personal training and other fitness related offerings within the club and to ensure that members enjoy the benefits of the club’s offerings.

Key Results Areas include:

To manage member induction/member process flow effectively

Provide accurate reporting on member statistics

Ensure all group fitness and electronic schedules are updated, displayed and made

available according to Company requirements and standards

To manage the administrative function of staff reporting to the various departments, as outlined in your position profile

Calculate instructors and tenant trainers’ remuneration and submit to management for authorization

To ensure tenant rentals are paid and arrear monies are collected within relevant deadlines

To ensure exercise studios and arrears are clean, equipment is functional and report on maintenance faults and/or potential risks

Complete weekly and monthly stock count pertaining to machines and equipment and relevant stock for your department

Conduct and minute staff meetings

Manage all new product offerings

Ensure all personal trainers are registered with REPSA and that staff are trained on

medical risk procedures

Experience & Competencies:

Matric/Grade 12

Relevant Fitness Qualification a must

Experience in Health and Fitness Industry

Group Exercise experience – with or without music

Experience in an environment that is customer focused

Proficient with basic office computer software (word, excel and email)

Must have knowledge and experience pertaining to the work environment

Valid driver’s license

Responsible, dependable individual

Strong listening and communication skills
