Collections Field Agent

A new position for Collections Field Agent has been created with the purpose in mind to effectively collect outstanding debt from clients residing in the Gauteng Region.

The purpose of the vacancy is:

The effective collection of outstanding debt by physically visiting clients and authenticating payments.

Duties will include but not be limited to:

Bad Debt Collections:

Receive collection instruction sheet from Head office in terms of:
Aedo Swipes

Trace Sheet for tracing customers
Contact debtors with whom prior arrangements have already been made by Head Office:
Arrange suitable time for swipe.
Visit pre-arranged debtors and authenticate payment (swipe of Aedo).
Complete paperwork in relation to the arrangements and visits conducted
Ensure mandate and authorisation sheet for pre-arranged Aedo’s is signed and explained to the debtor and provide the debtor with the dublicate sheet.
All arrangements made cannot be extended for a period longer than 6 months. Any requests for a duration longer than 6 months will require further approval from Head Office.
Trace sheet debtors, which need to be traced:
Investigation needs to be conducted on these debtors to establish contact.
Attempt contact and visit debtors on trace list and make payments arrangements and authenticate the arrangement. (Swipe the Aedo)
Achievement of Collection Targets

Strict adherence to Collection Targets
A grace period of 3 months from January 2019, will be provided for the meeting of targets;
Administrative Reporting:

Timeous reporting on Field Collection Activities will be required:
Aedo mandates and promissory slips;
Complete the arrangement / payment sheet for Aedo’s swipe
Complete trace visit sheet weekly for all trace clients with progress on;
List of calls made with numbers to be completed daily
Motor vehicle log with destination and kilometres travelled
Requirements: Senior Certificate; Computer Literate (MS Office)

Salary: Market related
