Supervising inbound/freight receiving services by:

Processing agent’s freight by verifying quantities, destinations, parcel conditions, and affixing destination stickers
Supervising sortation and loading in designated storage area
Capturing/ downloading and scanning waybills and parcels
Ensuring daily debriefing of collection schedules
Verifying airfreight lodging within required time frame
Supervising outbound/dispatch services by:
Processing upliftment of all freight
Scanning outgoing parcels/cargo
Printing trip sheets
Supervising loading
Obtaining driver trip sheet acceptance (signature), hand waybills (copy) and record vehicle registration numbers
Ensuring collections for outlying areas are communicated and followed up on daily basis

Verifying that POD’s are received within the required time frame
Managing receiving/dispatch workers by:
Providing work instructions
Providing task training and developing general competence levels
Motivating the receiving and dispatch staff towards objective achievement
Communicating inbound/ outbound information within the warehouse
Maintaining operations service and quality standards by

Monitoring inbound and outbound freight departures, collections, deliveries and arrivals
Verifying freight handling and the application of collection and dispatch procedures
Drafting operational procedures
