Key Purpose
To Support the storage, handling and bulk fuels distribution process at the terminal in a cost-effective, safe environment in support of Engen’s marketing objectives and optimization of profit opportunities.

- Budget Administration
*Annual input into Sub Family/Departmental CAPEX /OPEX business plan/budget

- Cost Centre Management
*Track monthly cost centre spend
*Generate monthly cost control report
*Report on monthly variances

- Inventory Management
*Receipt, storage, handling and distribution process complies with OHSE Act, Standing instructions. (Company standards and procedures and local by-laws)
*Audit reports must indicate compliance from policy
*Customer satisfaction as indicated in the CSI.
*Exchange balances with OOC for receipts and accommodation arrangements managed
*Product quality maintained
*Sound relationships with local authorities
*Optimise transport efficiencies

- Management of 3rd party contractual agreements & transport carriers.
*Terminal operations comply with 3rd party agreements where applicable
*Efficient, safe working and operating environment.
*Effective and efficient 3rd party on site management
*Cost efficiencies optimized

- Accommodation to OOC
*Quarterly industry meetings conducted timeously
*Accurate capture of minutes and distribution thereof and ensuring that action items are attended to by agreed deadlines.
General Administration
*Expense report with variance analysis submitted with meaningful explanations.
*Expenditure in line with agreed budget
*Timeous and effective reporting.
*Effective report analysis
*Administration in accordance with policies and procedures
Transport Management
*Cost efficient, safe operating environment.
*Own fleet and drivers: performance managed.
*3rd party carriers compliance with Engen operating standards and procedures
Joint facility Host/Tenant (Certain Depots/Terminals)
*An approved maintenance plan in place and executed according to industry standards.
*Engineering audits indicate full compliance with agreed standards.
*Quarterly JFC meetings conducted timeously, accurate capture of minutes and distribution thereof and ensuring that action items are attended to by agreed deadlines
Asset Management
*Systems and equipment utilised according to design specifications
*Record of ongoing analysis of outputs. Identification and implementation of agreed opportunities
Business Controls
*Reconciled inventory balances
*Valid, accurate and complete inventory balances
*Completeness of Income
*Adherence to business controls and procedures
*Accurate and reconciled Fixed Asset Register
*Audit indicates full compliance with company policies and procedures.
*Legislative compliance

- Customer and Stakeholder Coordination
*Coordinate adherence to customer and stakeholder policy and procedure
*Provide support and guidance to customers
*Adheres to customers SLAs
*Conduct audits on customer for compliance to governance and business procedures

- Contractor Liaison
*Liaise with contractor on deliverables
*Follow up on timelines and performance measures

- Staff Performance Management
*Manage day-to-day performance of staff
*Manage non-performance through performance process
*Manage Team Delivery based on targets/outputs

- HSEQ Compliance Coordination

Education & Experience
Matric
Diploma in Transport/Logistics
2 -3 years depot experience in a same role
