This Leading Private Hospital based North of Durban seeks a Theatre scrub Registered Nurse with Cardiac experience to join their great nursing team.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide safe, clean and secure environment for patients, staff and visitors
• Utilize supplies and equipment in an economical manner
• Ensure all stock is well controlled and managed, charged and credited appropriately
• Co-operate and collaborate with other hospital departments to provide quality patient care
• Liaise with Unit Manager on matters relating to patient care
• Always keep accurate records
• Serve on relevant committees within the department
• Supervise and evaluate quality of patient care through patient rounds
• Assist with the coaching of junior staff within the Unit
• Theatre Call and overtime(flexi time) according to operational needs of the department

Requirements:

• SANC Registered Nurse
• Theatre experienced or post basic diploma in theatre technique
• Private Hospital experience is advantageous
• Experience in Scrubbing for Cardiac & General Cases
• Must have own transport or reliable transport
