Supply Chain Specialist (10 months contract)

We are looking for a Supply Chain Specialist to provide a sourcing function that will ensure uninterrupted and cost effective provision of materials, goods and services by means of tenders and framework contracts in terms of the Supply Chain Management policy as well as contemporary and legislative requirements. The position is based in Johannesburg, Marshalltown
Manage all tender requests emanating from various departments within the Company.
Receive Tender initiation request from user departments.
Liaise with user department and confirm contents of submissions in respect of specifications, evaluation criteria, advertisement date, special conditions, pricing schedule and project plan.
Monitor repetitive procurement.
Recommend to end users on emplacement of framework contracts.
Compile Tender with-all Aegislatiye company Website as appropriate.
Issue letter of appointment to successful tenders.
Compile Bid Evaluation Committee and Bid Adjudication Committee.
Compile and submit weekly activity report on all Tender invited and awarded to Manager.
Maintain register for all Tender documents issued to user departments and other stakeholders.
Provide advice on Policy compliance and interpret provisions of the Supply Chain Management Policy.
National Diploma in Procurement , Purchasing , Logistics, Finance or Supply Chain Management (NQF 6)
5yrs experience in Procurement of which 3 years must be in tenders in Government Procurement or Supply Chain Environment. Conversant with legislation, PFMA, PPPFA, CIDB and BBBEE.

Compilation of report and computer literacy
Valid Drivers License
