Requirement Overview
Paarl Labels, based in Montague Gardens, is currently seeking to recruit an experienced Storeman to join our dynamic Paarl Labels team. The successful candidate will report to the Operations Manager and will be based in Paarl Media Gauteng.

Key Duties & Responsibilities
• Sorts, mark and places materials on racks or shelves according to predetermined product stock code sequence
• Maintaining effective stock control at all times to ensure accurate inventory records

• Cycle counts to ensure correlation between stock on the floor and Radius system
• Organizing the warehouse in a way that existing inventory is easily and safely accessible and clearly identifiable
• Scheduling deliveries and planning the routes in a way that will meet delivery time constraints
• Ensuring good housekeeping within the warehouse to provide a safe, professional environment
• Maintains ISO compliancy
• File copies of waybills, packing slips, transfers and other documents as required
• Ensure the timeous and correct completion of all administration in respect of deliveries
• Operate forklift to load and offload trucks
• Willingness to work overtime if and when required


Educational Requirements
• A Grade 12 qualification


Experience Requirements
• 2-3 year’s relevant stores and warehousing experience in the FMCG or print/flexible packaging industry environment
• Ability to manage all aspects of the role in a pressurised environment, prioritize and multitask
