Store Admin Assistant
Pimp My Book is a growing retail company focused on providing students with affordable educational material. Weβre obsessive about our high performance yet collaborative culture, and are looking for Store Admin Assistants to join our team. As a youth-led team; we think big, move fast and make things happen. We are here to prove that young, black SA youth have what it takes to go into business and succeed!
Your mission:
1.) Provide administrative support and general assistance to Branch Manager and Sales staff
2.) Act as the link between Main Office and the store with regards to Administration
3.)Reconcile 3rd party payment channels to in-store cash-up
4.) Working on the Papyrus Inventory software as required (training will be provided in store)
6.) Correctly load all stock received onto the system
7.) Assist with monthly stock takes
8.) Prepare and package books that need to be couriered
9.) Ensuring stock is packed and stored properly and that the store is kept neat
10.) Greet clients in a professional and friendly manner.
11.) Completing documents in Word and Excel
12.) Data entry and upkeep of the organisations databases
13.) Maintain a high level of accuracy at all times
14.) Follow up of existing queries from Main Office
15.) Assisting clients when they are collecting goods and verifying that correct orders are loaded
16.) Assist if required to do deliveries from time to time
17.) Complete in-store physical checks as directed by Main Office
18.) Compiling of store report for Main Office

Qualifications & Experience:
* No specific formal qualification required (qualification could be advantageous but not necessary)
* No specific prior experience needed (but customer focused/retail could be advantageous but not
necessary)
* Positive attitude, understanding and passionate about making people happy.
* Strong attention to detail super organised with superb time management and administration skills.
* Excellent telephone manner.
* Full command of English (spoken and written)
* Confident with computers β Word, Excel and the internet
