An exciting opportunity exists to take the lead role in coordinating and managing the strategic and operational stock requirements for Rewardsco Sales, Mondo, Vuka & Jika Mobile in the position of Stock Manager.
The role will be to manage a ‘virtual’ (no physical holding) stock system and all connected parties and processes to balance the efficiency of JIT ordering with the cost of being out of stock.

This is a key position for Rewardsco as a crucial element in the supply chain/sales cycle of both our traditional telephonic sales and rapidly expanding digital businesses in the telecommunications sector, as well as a critical input into our new fintech initiatives and as a newly launched mobile virtual network operator.

The incumbent will have ultimate responsibility for the management of stock and stock related issues within the Group, including a strategic overview of the businesses stock requirements, operational oversight and coordination of forecasts, logistics and performance measures and require a solutions based approach to engagements with external parties (clients and providers) to address external stock hurdles.
Bachelor degree or equivalent experience in supply chain, operations or business management
More than 2 years’ working experience in the distribution & logistics sector
More than 2 years’ experience in supply chain/operations/inventory management
Experience in working with diverse teams & internal business units
Experience in working with clients and suppliers/providers
Experience in mobile & fixed telecommunications is an advantage
Ability to work with and influence both internal and external contributors
Ability to plan, coordinate and monitor multiple parties and inputs

Salary : R30 000 - R 40 000 ctc dependent on level of experience and qualifications.
